When waiting is not an option. You sometimes have to make a choice.
Life we weird, wacky, messy and sometime rude. But we must go on. Work is no exception sometimes you got to take something you may not know or like. But it fills a need or part of a need. What do you do? Where do you go? Retail? Mail man or woman? Fast Food? These Ideas juggle in you head and hart.
Start somewhere! It may be a retail job or part time job or seasonal. Getting something while looking for better is one way to do it?? How successful is it? Well in my own experience very successful! I took a retail job and got better job 3 months later.
Update your skills! This is something you can do in tandem to getting a job somewhere OR If opportunities are good you can opt for this route thru the state or unemployment offices.
Pivot into something new! Some times a job shifts right out from under you and you see a pattern emerge. Ask yourself ” Is there anything I want to do that is better?” ” I could do that for a bit and see if I like it!” Some times taking that corner and seeing what is around it is an awesome opportunity to try something.
For me? I may Pivot into a new area! To continue my dream! While focus my energies into creation of coloring books and art. As I see great joy in what I have created. But it takes time! lots of time.
