This week I learned a new joy about life. Sometimes it’s work, a video, or fixing an issue. While moving forward.
I worked this past week to fix my coloring book… I was waiting to make a small collections revisions 2 to the coloring book. I looked at the cover and noticed a glaring issue that needed to be resolved. NOW!!! There was a missing image on the cover was not in the book. How did I miss it for so long? Well it only took half a year. ( see below)
Second, I helped out with inventory for where I worked… And I liked it? It has been over 2 Decades since I have done invenotry. And man! Have things changed and become easier? Missing tags found fast. Count fix done. Shifts of counts for missing items between tags. Done! So fast, so fun! I am doing it two more times. It started a week ago when my store started the inventory process. I loved that things were getting done and the process. So I asked if they needed more help; I was available to help. And then I had shifts for every day up till inventory. It was brutal but fun. Lots of fun. It was completed. Two days later, I did my second Inventory. Time was shifted ( I had my coffee this time), and we were done 2 hours faster. So I was asked if I would be interested in doing a few more next week, and I jumped at the opportunity.
Shifts in time? No, not time travel. The job market is still terrible. My current job fills me with joy. But is not a 9-5 job and has some limitations. But I am working within those limitations. So I will continue to search for a plus job. I hope to continue this one in some capacity when I get a more permanent job. It’s just a fun place to work 🙂
I am also in the middle of all this. I’m working on book 2. More to come on that next time… I have about 12 drawings left to place, then I need to decide a few things.. That will be next week’s blog
